Apostolate History
The Apostolate was formed in 1987 under Father Luke Du Anh Pham at St. Alosious in Ridgewood, Brooklyn. In 1999, the Apostolate relocated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Astoria, Queens under Father Joseph Truong Xuan Vu. Father Joseph Tan Tri Pham succeeded Father Joseph Truong in 2001. In 2008, the Bishop appointed Father Peter (Vitus) Hoa Trung Nguyen to succeed Father Joseph Tan. For more details, please see the history document for the Apostolate in Vietnamese or in English.

From the West: Take expressways to I-278. On I-278, proceed east and take Hoyt Street S. exit. Turn right onto Crescent Street. Turn right onto Astoria Boulevard. Parking lot entrance on left.

BY NYC SUBWAY
Take N or W train to Queens (or transfer from 59 Lexington Avenue). Get off at Astoria Boulevard. The church is south of the Triboro Bridge (TBB), proceed 3 blocks west on Astoria Boulevard to Crescent Street. The church and parking lot entrance is on the left.
